Chick-Fil-A invites customers to visit for National Sandwich Day (on a Sunday)

Or. Hearing ok after saying thank you to them.
I stopped at McDonald's for a Diet Coke yesterday. I check before driving off and it was a Dr. Pepper so I handed it back saying it was the wrong drink. They guy said "OK" and held his hand out. He refilled it and said "Here you go". Not a single "Sorry" or "Thank you" to be found. Unfortunately that's pretty typical these day. Except at Chic Fil A. That's part of why their service stands out.

Ahhh, I love the Chikfila threads on The Dis. A wonderful way to refresh everybody's memory as to the ideological alignment of all the same and usual posters...

I, of course, find them to be underwhelming. But in all seriousness, their massive overuse of MSG is ridiculous. It's the third ingredient in their sandwiches and nuggets, so that plus their "values" explains their popularity in some parts of the country and lack thereof in other parts. Can't we all just agree on that and skip with the repeated and thinly-veiled threads about a fast food chain or do we need them as a proxy for the banned political threads?
Sure is.

No, I happen toI disagree... many of these comments have nothing, at all, zero, to do with whether one likes the sandwich, or the smile that comes with it.
Again, easy to tell which is which.

You are right, it has absolutely nothing to do with the sandwich, it's the salad with the grilled nuggets and the smile. ;)

I find it very interesting at some who have decided that it MUST be CFA’s belief systems that makes anyone like their food. Some of you do realize that taste of food is a personal preference? And that one can like or not like their food based on that rather than some other reason?

But since YOU don’t like their food, no one else can possibly have a different opinion of their food and service? 😂 Ok. Sure.

I don’t know why they (and Cane’s) seem to hire nicer people but they do. I can go to McDs and get surprised by my order, since they never get it right. Or have someone act like I am lying to them about what size drink I ordered, even though they just took the order and like I am bothering them to even have an order. Or I can go to Arby’s where they are too busy playing to wait on customers.

CFA obviously trains their employees well. They have managers that are active in their role and do their job well. They hire equally across the board and have employees that many think do not “fit” their belief system. So if I had to guess, their hiring practices and training is why they are successful not a belief system.

Cane’s fries are disgusting, cheap fries. I are there once, not going back. The chicken was okay.

CFA’s customer service is impeccable in my state. We went to one out of state and were disappointed. It wasn’t bad, just not up to the standards we are used to. More like a regular fast food place.

I miss their chicken salad sandwich. Their toddler board books are great.

Because DD is the same age as many of their workers, we know plenty of them at our local CFAs. Some are gay and one is transgender, yet there they are at the counter. They could work elsewhere, but choose to work at CFA. And everyone is polite and friendly to everyone else, from workers to customers.

I disagree with CFA on many things, but it’s close to my former place of employment and I like their mobile order. However, their sandwich is really not that great. Sorry it just isn’t anywhere near as good as the Popeyes one. I thought that’s what this thread is about.

I like the nuggets grilled or breaded, love the fries, love their cookies and shakes and they are the only people who make an Arnold Palmer correctly.

I can like some of it and still think they are robotic and weird. I don’t boycott places. If I did that I would never shop anywhere.

For me it's all about the food and the good customer service is just a bonus on top of that. Fast food is necessary evil IMO and if I'm at the mall that's 30 minutes away or I'm travelling and need to eat and my choices are Popeyes, McD's, BK, Wendy's, and CFA I will pick CFA every time. I find their salad option to be the best.
As for their beliefs, that is between them and their employees.

Did y’all make it for rope drop today?! I didn’t end up going last night, but now I want it again!

Oh, I agree that the Popeye’s sandwich is really just that good. My only problem for the Popeyes near us is that they are not consistent. I will go and get the new whatever and it will be good. Next time not so much. There biggest problem is not cleaning the oil as much as they should. And their customer service is horrendous. We do have a new one a bit further away so may try them.

My sister in Jersey loves CFA, and I, in Louisiana' love Popeye's chicken...have not had the sandwich yet, but will probably try it...tried CFA, and to me, it's overrated...Maybe Canes will join the fray....they could definitely give either of the other two a run for their money!!::yes::

Canes has a sandwich. It’s ok, but I think it’s too big.
