I know that I've read about a great playground that some of the northeastern travelers like to stop at. Does anyone have any suggestions like that for those of us driving down from the IL/WI/MN/IN areas?
I know about the Mammoth Caves and some of the other touristy stuff, but something right off of the highway that just allows the kids to really stretch their legs would be perfect.
I know that we stopped at a Playplace, somewhere in IN (I think) on the way down last time. Hopefully, we'll find that (and others again). We also stopped at a really nice rest stop that had a lot of green area and picnic tables (maybe when we entered GA?)...I may bring Frisbees and such so that we can make the most of that as well.
Any others?
