Chicago radio personality Jay Marvin bragging about his DCL cruise last week!!!!!!

Chicago radio personality Jay Marvin wls am890 who is on air this week from 5am to 9am cst and 6pm to 7pm was on a DCL ship last week. He gave it GREAT reviews and actually said he re-booked for Dec of 2003. Just thought you all would want to know.

Good to hear! I wanted to listen to him today to see what he had to say but I forgot! Wonder if he got a discount since the station is owned by Disney LOL.

I caught a little in the morning and a little on the evening show.........but, his thoughts were exactly as I remember my two cruises. The cast members were almost over polite and did all they could to make it picture perfect. I believe he said he re-booked for Dec. of 03. I e mailed him at the station and told him about how helpful these boards were gave him the web site and he e'd back saying he was going to try to check it out. So Jay if you are here here's you thread.

He should have bragged about his cruise - DCL is always going out of their way for people, even just everyday Joe's and Jane's - and this forum is part of it.


I was ASKED at embarkation if needed the wheelchair I spoke about when I reinjured my knee.....
Now you tell me that's not service! And I'm not a radio or tv personality!!!!!

I am Rae....hear me clap out of rhythm, hear me wail like a banseee at the Dueling Pianos, see me outrageous and open - yup, I bet I hugged and kissed more crew members than is legally authorized by Disney.....tough luck! Those kids need to know they are both appreciated and loved! And I am the LOVE bug that's going to let them know.

Tom said I need a job as a "Counselor Troi" on the Magic - just to take care of their emotional needs. Lordy!!!!! He does have some aspirations for me!!!!!

The Disney crew, entertainers and servers are the best - they put their all into everything they do and it may seem like "over the top" to some - but that's just the Disney way and our crew does it best.

If Jay missed Fidleio, then he needs another cruise.

I'm glad that he had a great time. It was a fantastic cruise!

I am laughing so hard that tears are falling........I can probably get 1/3 of myself in her uniform!!!!!!!! But then again, I can always do wear HER wedding apparel and be quite comfortable!!!!! (And I know you know what I mean!)
