lol...well you see, when the Dolphins were awesome in the 70's and 80's the Cubs were the heartbreaker. Then it flipped. I have not had to worry about baseball crossing into football season too often lol.

Not a Bears fan either. My Dad didn't watch professional football when I was growing up in the SE Suburban area of Chicago. I'm a Saints fan living in Louisiana. We like College football better.
But when I lived in Houston, we'd go to Astro games, especially when they played the Cubs (back when the Astros were NL). When we lived in Alabama, we went to games in Atlanta when the Braves played the Cubs. We're thinking of moving to South FL and we'll go to Miami and Tampa to see them play the Cubs.
I just wanted to say congrats the the Cubs. Even though I am a diehard Indians fan, you guys gave it all you had and made the series the best baseball I have ever seen. I am so happy that Cubs fans get to feel what we Cleveland fans felt just a few short months ago. A title win and relief that years of torment was over.
I hope we "meet" again next year, but with a different outcome

I'm a misplaced Floridian. Lived in IL my whole life but in the early 70's my folks bought a place in Naples, FL so I have been very fortunate to spend a lot of summers and time there. I am not a Bears fan (tho my DH is) and I loved Don Shula even tho I was about 10 years old. I tend to stay with my teams for life
Be safe my DH and 2 DDs just got in the train in Naperville. What a zoo! They said people were pushing and some small kids almost got trampled. They help the parents get them on safely. DD said that they train left with about 200 people still on the platform. They won't get close to the park now but at least they will be there. I'm home with our youngest. With crowds like this, it's not safe for her in her wheelchair. We've had issues at WDW with people stepping over her and they crowds today are 1000 times bigger.
Just your average celebration parade and rally...........
City's crowd estimate: 5 million
The city's Office of Emergency Management and Communications estimates that about 5 million turned out for the parade and the rally.

I guarantee every Bachelorette Party in Wrigleyville (and there are TONS) is going to request The Triple Play, lol. Male dance companies, get your Doppleganger's ready..the requests are prob already happening.
this is cool
