Matt: "Okay, well, uh, I was wondering if you'd like to, um, be my-oh dear, this is harder than I thought, I've never asked someone out before, especially someone I just met. So-do you-" he hesitated.
Trent: "Yes." He hugged him tightly. "Of course."
Matt: He grinned. "Sweet! I've never had a boyfriend before, people at my school are typically afraid of me."
Trent: "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You're perfect."
Matt: "oh no I'm not."
Trent: "You are to me." He leaned up and kissed his new boyfriend.
Matt: He smiled. "You're perfecter."
Trent: He snorted. "Heck no, I'm broken, corrupted, and immature."
Matt: "That is not true. You were hurt and it changed you, of course, but you are not broken, or corrupt. Maybe you've seen or done things that you wouldn't be proud of, but that's because they would've killed you if you didn't. As for immature, that's just because you have been reintroduced to society and you've been left too many times."
Trent: He grinned and nuzzled his face into Matt's shoulder. "Thank you for understanding me. The only other person that does is Chelsea, and I don't think she understands everything."
