Chef's Table at V and A's

Does anyone know what it costs to eat at the Chef's table? I would like to book this for next year, for my parents 45th anniversary. What is the price difference between it and a regular table?

45 years...that's wonderful.

I don't know the current price of the Chef's Table but the main dining room increased to $90/person a few months back. Have your parents dined there before? If not you might want to consider the main dining room. It is sooo romantic I think. For a first visit that would be my choice.

For our 23rd anniversary I booked the Chef's Table because I thought my husband would enjoy it. He did very much but we had been a few times before. It's interesting, lots of personal attention and detail on the food...just not as romantic as the main dining room IMHO.

Whatever you decide...what a great gift!

several years back, it was around $300/couple/inclusive. however, this did not include the wine pairings. remember this can be booked 180 days out and will book quickly. good luck and happy anniversary to your parents.

the Chef's table is great, we did it last year, but the atmosphere is not what I would cll romantic or special (unless you love cooking like I do). It can be quite noisy and busy. The main dining room is made for atmosphere - limited seatings, music, etc.

The cost is somewhat cheaper as well, we ended up with the wine pairings paying $400 or so for the Chef's Table. I felt it was worth it for the food, the wines could have been a little better selection for the money. Next time I would spend the money on one good bbottle.

No matter the choice it is always special to have a meal at V&A.
