All I can say is "OH MY!" This was one of the best meals we have ever had at Disney. To start the room we ate in was similiar to a glass sun porch of sorts, bright, cheery, just lovely. Our waiter was attentitive (water glass was never empty) but not overly so.

Now for the food...YUMMY!!! My DH and I had the French menu which consisted of french onion soup, big hunk of bread on top with melted gooey cheese, Excellent. Then came the ham and cheese on crusty bread with tomato, perfect. The sandwich was not greasy but again ooey and gooey in the best sort of way! Finally, was the creme brulee, delicately flavored and the crisp coating was luscious. My son had the Paine Bagnat which was a giant tuna sandwich with cucumbers and fresh veggies and homemade potato chips. The sandwich was HUGE and he could only eat half. The potato chips were the best, crisp and again, not greasy.

All in all this meal was a pure delight! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt it was very reasonably priced for all you got!

Have to agree with you. We love the French menu for lunch - this is our sit down for the day. We also tried one of the appetizers - a flat bread with bacon and onions - it was to die for. I think for the price though for the French Menu it is a real bargain. Lovethe atmosphere too!

Ludwig was our waiter. He was wonderful. I also enjoy the French menu. The creme brulee was so yummy.

Thanks for the great review! DH and I discovered Chefs de France last trip, and we agree that it was one of the best meals we've ever had at WDW. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was Lidio, and we adored him. We had a wonderful conversation throughout the meal about how DH and I met, and how Lidio and his wife met in Italy (yes, he's from France but has lived all over the world!)

Hi,

Mom & I are going here in May. Can't wait! Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

We went the Chef's 1 1/2 years ago for my birthday and despite what I had been told at the time, it was one of the best meals I've had at Disney. The food was perfect, portions perfect 9I fit in dessert!) and the service divine. It was much, much better than the bistro upstairs! :thewave:

Thank You for the great review. We ate here in December as part of the CPP and loved our dinner. My cousin who was with us had soup spilled on his jacket & sweatshirt while we had dinner. They were really great about taking care of his clothes ( had them dry cleaned ) plus they paid for all our drinks and gave him a new France sweatshirt. The escargot appetizer was fantastic as were all our meals. We will be going back here again in the future.

The French Menu was absolutely perfect, to us! :) Glad to hear you liked it. Did you and DH have your own, or did you share?
