DH and I have lunch ressies for our trip this June at Chefs. now we have been dying to try Raglan Road for a while. I just thought of possibly cancelling Chefs (we have been there numerous times) to try RR. We are staying at BW and have AP's so that was why we chose Chefs but I guess a trip to DTD would not be out of the question. What do you guys think?

RR has been getting some great reviews and since you've been to Chefs I say go for RR. We're trying it for the first time next trip.:goodvibes

Raglan Road is my new favorite restaurant!!!! I have never been to Chefs De France but you should try RR...:thumbsup2

Having been to both, I'd say stick with Chefs de France. We just don't "get" RR ourselves.

Chefs is more of a lunch place and Raglan is more of a dinner and after dinner place. If you do go to raglan, have the colcannon

On our trip this past Aug we had dinner reservations at both, and much preferred Raglan Road--loved the food, loved the atmosphere` loved the music. We were not as impressed with Chefs this trip.

We were in the same quandry and after reading all the reviews of RR, we decided on RR for this trip.

RR - but only if you go for a late dinner. It's boring during the day, really. The fun part is the dancing and band and adult atmosphere at night.

I love them both, honestly, but RR is a place DH and I love to eat and then stay awhile at.

Well I would say do both...LOL but that is only because I did both back to back this past January.

The food was good at both. And the atmosphere is different for each one making it an experience on to itself. Chefs more romantic and serene and has the Paris charm. Raglan, I am Irish and love the rugged, loud, hopping time of a pub.

So it is up to you what kind of experience you are looking for, and definitely only go to RR at night and as close as possible to 8-9P hour. That is when the music and dancing begins.

I definitely recommend the salmon at RR and the filet mignon at Chefs was so much better then "gasp" Le Cellier.

I went to RR last year and it was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. The service was horrible, the waiter got all the orders wrong, the steak was so undercooked, I asked the waiter to take it back. He took, it back and it came back an hour later, not even cooked?

This was after we were there for about 2 hours. If I didn't know any better I would have thought I was on a Candid Camera episoide.

The food did look pretty coming out, but it was just awful to eat. Not one member in my party (there was twelve of us) enjoyed their meal.

I hate to give any place a bad review, and the place has really great atmosphere and beautiful Irish dancers and a great band, but the food and service was the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant in my 43 years on this earth.

I have never been to Chefs de France, but they would have to try really hard to be that bad.

Now if you want awesome food and great service try Le Cellier. I have been there 4 times and the place just keeps getting better and better.

What time should I make a ressie for RR to enjoy music and dinner?

HANDS DOWN Raglan Road. It was one of our favorite experiences at Disney. So much fun. The food was good but the atmosphere was a blast. The 2 and 3 year old that we had in our group of 6 had the most fun of all of us. Live Irish music and dancing. Not to be missed and is on our list for every trip. Chef's was marked off our list just about as soon as we sat down. Not a fan.

I've never been to Chef's but did try RR this past October and loved it. Great food and a great bar! :)

while we like chefs, def try RR if you've never been.
the entertainment is incredible (tho we've found the food not very good: from "fridge tasting" cheesecake to gamey meat ~ we just nibble on the food). many others have had probs with waitstaff, but all our servers have been good.
the truly talented performers will make you forget what you ate anyway ;)
