ON THE DAY WE HAVE PLANNED TO GO TO MGM WE WOULD LIKE TO BOOK A DINNER AT CHEF MICKEYS. WE ARE USING WDW TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM. HOW WOULD WE GET TO CHEF MICKEYS IN CONTEMPORARY RESORT FROM MGM? WOULD THERE BE TOO MANY TRANSFERS OR BE TOO TIME CONSUMING? ALSO THIS WOULD BE FOR SAT OCT 1 AND DON'T KNOW HOW LATE MGM IS OPEN? ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT!!!!

All resorts have direct transportation to and from the theme parks. To get from MGM Studios to the Contemporary you would just take the Bus marked for the Contemporary (the bus stops are all labled) and it will bring you right to the hotel.

Not sure about Oct park hours...

I was told today when I made my reservations for CM that you can ride the Monorail to the Contemparary Resort....be sure to get on the one for the Resorts!

Hi Pookiepoo,

The OP was asking how to get to the CR from the Studios. You don't need to take the monorail, as Humphrey said above. Just take a bus from the Studios to the CR.
