When you make a resv, do you pay no or after meal? Also I'm looking for a Character meal (dinner) for our first nigt there. I needs to be a resort since we do not have Park Hopper passes. Any suggestions. Thanks

You pay after the meal when they bring you the check. We love Chef Mickey's for dinner. It's a great buffet with lots of characters. Lots of fun!

I got a PS for 9-20 at 7:10 that's the first day of arrival. I wanted to let the kids see some characters early. I was only on hold for about 10 min. and the CS couldn't believe how many openings she had on that day. Thanks for all your help.

We highly enjoyed Chef Mickey's it was really good. We had PS for 9pm. No way could we eat sooo late.

We arrived right at the opening of the restaurant NO LINES . I asked if we could be seated although our ps was for 9pm. No problem. Went right in. So go early see if they will take you . Just a suggestion. We were lucky. Did this at ohana's at the poly too no problem.

The characters at Chef Mickey's that night were mickey & minnie goofy, chip & dale Donald Duck was in the lobby. Always available for great pictures. Characters very attentive. Stayed their distance from my little one (2 years old in High chair). She still loved to see them from afar.
