Is it that bad?

I've gone back and forth between Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill and finally chose Chef Mickey's for our arrival night. But now I'm skeered about the food.

My kids LOVE Minnie Mouse, so CM seemed like the way to go (not to mention, we can do Downtown Disney after we get in rather than rush to a park).

We love Chef Mickeys for breakfast but will never go to dinner there again..or to any character dinner buffet, the food is just nasty

We ate dinner at Chef Mickey's once and that's the only time I'll ever do it. The service was horrible. The character interaction for us was virtually non-existent (it was impossible to get them over to our table). And the food was mediocre at best. On our arrival nights we do 'Ohana. We've done Chef Mickey's for breakfast and that was really good.

You'll find people who either love it, hate it, or are indifferent to it. You can try it and if you dislike it, you don't have to go back.

We ate at CM on Sept. 13. The food was good. My husband liked the curry chicken. I was worried it would be loud and crazy, but it wasn't. It was just fine. We met Mickey before we were seated and then Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto visited our table. We had a good experience.

Yep, depends who you ask. We have always enjoyed our meals at CM. Though I admit we prefer breakfast over dinner, we have been pleased with our meals and more then pleased with the experience and service.

I agree with PP, all you can do is try it for yourself and make your own decision.

We were there Sept 2nd for dinner, and we loved it. The food was excellent and the characters interacted with my husband and I---it was just the two of us, no kids. Would we do it again--yeppers.
