My son's birthday is 11/14, and I want to go to dinner at Chef Mickey's. The only time I could get an ADR was 7:45. If we show up at 5 pm when the restaurant opens, what are the odds of getting seated? There are four of us. Thanks for your thoughts.
:)

There's no guarantee you will get in. I would definitely keep the ADR time you have and try that day showing up a little before 5:00. You may be able to get in with a bit of a wait. In the time being, I would continue to try and get an earlier ADR - check every day if you can until that day. There are always cancellations.

Last December when we went, we had an awful time for dinner but it was the only time I could get in advance so the day of we went to the concierge desk at our Disney resort and we were able to get a better dinner time.

Try your concierge early every morning once you get to Disney.

But like Chrismom3 said - I would keep trying online everyday in the meantime. People change plans all the time and you may be able to get the time you want.

The concierge may be able to fulfill your request, but even they cannot sprinkle pixie dust everytime so I wouldn't leave it entirely to them.
