Chef Mickey's or Minnie’s Seasonal Dining at Hollywood and Vine

We have a 2 year old, which is better or does it matter? We have done Chef Mickey's, food was not remarkable but it was about the experience. Is Hollywood and Vine the same way? Food is edible but go for the characters?

I went to the summer dining in August, and the food was actually quite good. It was the big surprise of the trip, and the character interactions were one of the best as well! I'd go for that over Mickey's.

We've done the Holiday Seasonal Dine twice (my girls love it)-- food is edible (not good but not awful)- character interaction has been great both times.
