Chef Mickey's or Garden Grill?

I'm debating between Chef Mickey's or Garden Grill for a character meal for my kids (age 5 and 2).. We'll be at Epcot the day we go to Chef Mickey's so there will be a bit of travel time involved, and we also have my in-laws with us, and I've heard Chef Mickeys is loud.. not sure they will appreciate that.. any advice?

We love both restaurants, so if you are going to be at Epcot anyways, I would definitely book GG.

We love Garden Grill, the food is so much better, so is the relaxed atmosphere and you don't have to keep getting up and navigating the kids everywhere while balancing your plate of food

I agree if you are already in Epcot then I would do GG. But I wouldn't overlook chef Mickey's. My family prefers buffets so Chef Mickey's is on our list every trip. The loudness never bothered them but they didn't like the rotation of GG when they were little.

I think you'll be happy with either choice. Enjoy!

If you have picky eaters you will probably find CM is easier to find food as it's a buffet.

GG has a set menu and you should check what they are serving, although it could change before you arrive. At least you will know what kinds of food are available.

Chef Mickey's is a great opportunity to see Mickey Mouse himself!!

The 2 experiences are very different as others have said. The convenience of the GG is great, but not everyone likes the set platter of food that they bring. We like to go get what we want ourselves. We have never been bothered by the noisy ambience at CM, but I can see how it might not appeal to everyone. It's a high energy, excited sort of atmosphere. The GG is very easy and more quiet.

It's a personal choice sort of thing. For our family, we like both, but prefer Chef Mickey's.
