Chef Mickey's - Lunch or Dinner

Would you choose lunch or dinner at Chef Mickey's? I know the food isn't that great but it's the one character meal my daughter agreed on since she's out of the character stage now. Besides cost what is the difference? I also like it for the convenience factor (easy to get to from MK as I assume we can walk there).

Or if you have another suggestion for a character meal I'd love to hear it! Daughter will be 9 for our trip but we're only planning on HS and MK.

We have eaten dinner in the past at Chef Mickey's. We plan on going again on our trip in Sept. You could walk to it if you want but you can also take the monorail. We also plan on 1900 Park Fare it has Cinderella at dinner. Are you wanting to stick with lunch and dinner for a character meal? We do Crystal Palace at breakfast and it has Winnie-the-Pooh characters.
