We have a ADR for CM's at 11:15 am for breakfast on our very last morning, is that to late? When I made the ressie I remembered what a nightmare our last morning was the first time we visited WDW and thought I'd give us plenty of time to check out. However now I've read on Deb's site that breakfast stops being served at 11:30 :earseek: . Does anyone know if they start bringing out lunch items then and if so will our breakfast food be stale/cold/ all messy    ? It will be our first time for breakfast there and I want it to be a nice last experience. Should I try (ha!) to move up our ADR? Fat chance I know!

We've had 10:30 a.m. breakfasts at CM the past 2 trips and loved it. The crowds have thinned out, we got lots of character time and the food was great. We re planning another 10:30 ish ADR for Nov when we get to call next week!! :cool1:

We did this on our last trip and Mickey actually hung out with our table for awhile and gave me a kiss. :love2:  It was wonderful. Now, I'll never schedule it any other way. ;)

I don't believe there is lunch at Chef Mickey's. They only have breakfast and dinner. I have read numerous posts about people having a late breakfast at CM and really enjoying themselves. If you get to the MK at park opening you will need a break about that time anyway.

A late Chef Mickey breakfast is our tradition. In the past this has helped us save some money as it counts as a "brunch". Chef Mickey's does not serve lunch. They will keep the buffet loaded with food and the characters will be there until you leave. Don't feel rushed, there's no need to. Relax, have a great time, and enjoy the experience. I can assure you that nothing will be any different than if you had made an 8am ressie!

Actually it WILL be different from an 8am ressie: you'll have LOTS more time with the characters! We are big fans of the late breakfast ressie. You won't be rushed out, and there will be plenty of food and character interaction. The first time we ever did Chef Mickey's, DS was 18 mos and terrified of the characters. We had a late PS, and it ended up being just us and one other family in there. By the time we left, DS was in love with ALL the characters, and DH and I were in love with Minnie, because of the lengths she went to in getting our son to warm up to her. After he was "okay" with her, she would go get another character (Pluto, Mickey, etc) and bring them over to DS so he could see that they were just as friendly as she was. Ever since then, DS has loved any and all characters. But DH and I retain a special place in our hearts for Minnie! ::MinnieMo

Another late breakfast experience: 1900 Park Fare, September 2004. We had one of the latest PSs on a Saturday morning. Characters were Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mary Poppins and Bert (all circulating in the restaurant). We got TONS of character time with them all. But at one point, Mary Poppins actually sat down at our table and talked with us for about 15 minutes. A few minutes later, Alice came by and sat with us, too. Then all the characters disappeared with the handler (we thought they were gone for good), and Bert and Mary came back out with pixie dust, which they sprinkled in DS' hair. We talked to them for another 15 minutes or so, with no one else in the restaurant!

We almost always do a late ressie, particularly at a resort restaurant, on our last day. We have never been rushed (might be different if you were at CP, which DOES serve lunch), or felt like anyone wanted us to leave. In fact, on another trip to 1900 PF, it happened to be DS' birthday. Not only did we get lots of character interaction, but our server was offering us to go boxes from the buffet, and when we declined that, she offered DS fruit, muffins, pastries, etc, to take with us in the car!
