Chef Mickey's!!! Help!

A friend of mine is going last minute to WDW and asked me to make Chef Mickey's Dinner or Breakfast ps's for anytime next week. I called and guess what they are completely booked! No kidding!! What chances to do you think she'll have (Family of 4) of waiting for a table? Do you think they have a better shot an another character meal? They have never been and have 2 princess-crazy girls ages 4 and 5. Thanks all.

Just want to make sure you realize Chef Mickey's doesn't have any princesses, since you mentioned the princess-crazed girls. At CM's you'll see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

As far as being booked - keep checking in the Dining Services. When I originally called for our CM breakfast it was also booked. I kept trying to call and the day before we left for our trip I got a ps no problem. And this was for 11/8 - aka Jersey Week - very crowded conditions. So there is a good chance she can still get a ps. In fact we arrived at CM's a half hour early from our ps time and we got seated within minutes, even though it looked pretty full.

I have shown up many, many times at Chef Mickeys with no PS and every time have had no problem being seated. Usually within 15-20 minutes. Lots of people make a booking and plans change and they don't show. I'm sure if you get nothing prior to their leaving...if they 'drop by' they will be fine!!

I would keep checking back with CRO. You may get lyucky and get a PS. Good luck!

We have showed up at chef mick's several times right at 5:00 without ps and got right in for dinner.

That's an excellent idea. If you're going to try for "walk-up", go when the restaurant first opens. Your chances of getting seated are much better.
