Chef Mickey's End of Trip?

I've seen many people say that they do CM's their first night. So many in fact that I've started to get worried. We planned it as our final TS dinner for a last hoorah. I am sure that some people will say that anytime is great and/or be glad you got a dinner res. at all. However, for those that have been at the end of their trip, was it a mistake? I'm afraid it's going to be more of a last-night bummer than a first night party, KWIM?

We have ours planned the night before we leave. I look it as a Grand Celebration of being at Disney World anytime.

We did ours on our last night and I have no regrets. I actually found it a little relaxing knowing that our trip was coming to an end and everything went as planned, and what better way to conclude the trip than celebrating with Mickey and friends.

We often do Chef Mickey for breakfast before going to the ME for the airport.
Since we have a few hours in the morning but not enough time to me to swim and get everything wet we do a character meal. This has always been a fun way to end the trip, plus every one is full for the long haul to the airport and back home.

We do Chef Mickey's as arrival night dinner. Great Way to start the trip. This time we are also going to do it for our last day Breakfast. Great Way to end the trip.

We did CM's for breakfast on our last full day and we all LOVED going out with a bang!! It was the perfect ending to our celebration!

Thank you for your responses! I'm feeling better about the decision. I think I will stop trying to switch our reservations and just stick with what we've got for the last night.

I had the same thinking as you -- make it a last night celebration. What ended up happening though is we were so stuffed after 9 days of eating that we ended up cancelling the ADR. Just the thought of looking at a buffet made my stomach lurch a little . I'm like that on vaca though, after a certain amount of eating out nothing looks good to me anymore and I just want a home cooked meal--so nothing against CM specifically, kwim?

We usually do something special, our last night-Le Cellier or CM. Our latest trip, we had a later flight, so we did CRT the morning of our flight home. I say, end-up with a bang!
