Chef Mickey's Booked in August?

My family will be in WDW 8/30 - 9/06 and I can't find any times for Chef Mickey! I'm wondering if people are just making multiple ressies online and cancelling when they have a better idea which one they really want. In this case, I would probably be able to get a res during our trip. Can anybody travelling in August tell me whether they had trouble getting a res at Chef Mickey's during you're stay? Thank you.

Many people booked at 90 days out - with it being free dining your chances of getting in this close are very slim - sorry - best of luck. Keep checking back - people do cancel.

I have been planning a trip for August 29 - Sep 6 also! I booked it only two weeks ago

Chef Mickeys was the only place I was not able to get. I even managed a Le Cellier. Untill last night. There it was, Chef Mickeys popped up. I couldn't believe it.

I have been trying for two weeks multiple times a day, breakfast or dinner. Keep trying, cancellations happen.

Did you try lunch? I think CM is open for lunch during FD.

ChefM's is one of the most popular places and is always difficult to get unless you book on the 90 day mark.

Keep trying....you never know when something will be come available. Another option if it's that important to you is to go to the podium at ChefM's about 30 minutes before they open and ask about getting a table. Sometimes it works but you have to willing to have your meal at a very early time.

In general, during FD there are no walk in's accepted at any place that is fully booked.

Chef Mickey's is definately popular. On my 90 days, the earliest I could get was 7:55 on 8/31. I have been trying now for over 70 days to get an earlier one with no luck. I am lucky to have what I have. Keep trying and hope like me that something will pop up. Good luck!

You have to keep calling to see if there are any cancellations.
I'm going to WDW Aug 24-31. I tried booking for either lunch or dinner for everyday I was there and NOTHING. I called back at a later date and managed to get one for the last day we were there.

I booked Chef Mickey's for Sept. 2 at 5:00 and had no problems. I did this at my 90 day mark.

Keep trying, you never know what may happen. A couple of weeks ago, I was able to change my Le Cellier ressie from 8:40 pm to a more reasonable 5:05 pm for Aug. 30.

I booked CM for breakfast & Dinner back at my 90 day mark over the phone and had no problem. At that time they opened up for lunch because of FD. We are going Aug 23-31. Don't give up keep trying and call and ask about Lunch. Good Luck I am hoping you get it.

I have been trying since my 90 day mark on 7/5 for Chef Mickey Dinner on 10/3,...heck I even tried for our whole week, and there have been NO reservations to be had! But, I keep trying multiple times a day....I got lucky doing that with LeCellier...I can't believe I was able to get that and not Chef Mickeys!
