Chef Mickey's and parking @ Contemporary

We have an 8:30pm ressie at Chef Mickey's. I was hoping we could park at the Contemporary at about 6pm so we could walk to MK and see Spectro prior to our dinner -- only day we'll be there that they'll have Spectro. Does anyone know if this is allowed? We are planning to spend that day at Animal Kingdom. Thanks for your help.

just tell them you have a dinner ressie. they don't ask what time. you should be okay

No, this is not allowed. You will be given a 3-hr parking pass when you enter the Contemporary by the security guard. There have been numerous reports of cars being towed. There are also signs at all of the resort guard shacks that you cannot park there and go to a park. If you have an issue with this I suggest that you valet park for the $10.

Actually it is not allowed .The signs say that the parking lot is not to be used for visits to the themeparks.They have towed cars before.
