I read an article on FB that said after all this time, our beloved cheese sauce was returning to Casey's! Is it really true?? If so, I'm SO excited! :cool1: In the article I read, it stated that it had to be purchased for $1 at the register....I guess meaning they'll give it out vs customers getting it themselves and possibly burning themselves. But hey, that's a small price to pay after being gone so long. Has anyone else heard this?? Thanks!

I believe this has been available for quite awhile. It is not the same "plastic cheese" as before. It is a prefilled cup of cold cheese sauce. I think, if I am right, it is very different and no where near as good

Dang that is like being so jazzed to ride 7DMT and then watching the coaster come up and once in, you realize the seat is too small and horrible.

I was all excited too :guilty:

I know the cheese you speak of, like when they sell it in sealed cold cups with pretzels but this sounds like the old plastic stuff.

Disney Food Blog put up a post on IG and it says it's hot--not spicy, but hot in temperature.

AJ loves her warm plastic cheese so this could be the real deal. I trust her when it comes to serious matters like this. :)

Yes, that's what I read too and I trust her as well. I do not believe this is the cold cup of cheese. They truly brought back the hot plastic stuff we once loved. The only differences are you must pay $1 for it & the counter people dole it out (prob so customers do not burn themselves). Believe me when I say, I'd rather have to pay $1 than to not have it at all.
