Cheese plate at Grill

I will be on the DDP plan this August and have an ADR for a date night here. Not really a dessert fan, I was hoping I would be able to get the cheese plate for my dessert. Will they allow this on the DDP? Has anyone had success with this recently?

Depending on what the answer is will determine whether I pay out of pocket for this dinner or use the DDP. TIA!

I would ask.

I'm not a big dessert eater either. I had the cheese plate instead of the dessert here, but it was several years back. I would assume they still do it. Cheese is a traditional dessert substitute for a meal ending in Europe, and I always assumed this is why I see it on menus.

They did a few years back.

However, as the cheese plate now costs $20, you may need to find out if they still do. As it's a 2 credit restaurant, it is a possibility.

I asked this question a couple weeks ago and sever Disboarders reassured me that you can order the cheese board as dessert at CA Grill.

ok great. I did a search under this subforum before posting but your thread didn't come up. An older one did from last year, indicating one could under the d dx plan, so just needed recent confirmation for the DDP plan.

It's always been on the DxDP, but I have always been able to get a cheese plate for dessert at any of the Signature restaurants (Artist Point, California Grill, Flying Fish, and Jiko). The last time was this past Dec at California Grill, Jiko, and Flying Fish.

Wait a minute I got a cheese plate as my dessert at Flying Fish this past May when we were on the basic DDP.
