Cheer competition?

I just heard that there will be cheer competitions the beginning of May and therefore many more kids. Does anyone know anything about this?

The Cheerleading Worlds Championship is May 8-10. Then the Dance Worlds
Championship is May 6-7.
The Summit is at the beginning of May as well. For cheer, it's April 30th through May 2nd, then for dance it's May 2nd and 3rd. The D2 Summit competition is May 13th through 15th.
These are all at the Wide World of Sports at Disney, but I'm sure many kids will come over to Universal while they're there too.

Wasn't there also a competing Cheer organization that was having something at Universal but that then got moved to the convention center because of so many people?

There’s a couple that are at the convention center, but I’m not sure which one was originally at Universal.
The American Open is March 27-28. Then All Out Season Showdown is April 17. Those are the only two at the convention center for the rest of competition season, which will start back up in around November or December.
Also, these two competitions aren’t nearly as big as the Worlds Championship and The Summit. I’m sure some cheerleaders will make their way to Universal, but I wouldn’t expect huge groups of them everywhere like seen during Worlds and Summit days.

Pop Warner moved to Universal. It's cheer and football starting in December. I read an announcement and do not have anything to do with Pop Warner, cheer or football.
