Grim, it's so nice to see you! Well, sort of see you. You know what I mean. We've missed our other rooster! We've made it a whole year though and that's pretty exciting. I'd love to go on a Disney cruise someday. You need to stick around!

Jeanny, how nice to have a week off! Put a little aloe on those knees and enjoy!

Ahh, how sweet! I've never been called a rooster before! That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in such a long time.

I saw that this "venerable bead" has been around for 1+ year now. Congratulations to you all!

So where are Fabs, Michelle, etc.? Do they still hang around here?

Well, we couldn't keep calling you and GoofyDad chicks now could we?

Fab has gone missing. I mean big time missing! I was just thinking of e-mailing her. Michelle is still around. Our regulars are me, Tricia, Wendy, Jeanny, Goofydad, Chris, Michelle and Arkie (Lori). Hazzi still checks in now and then. A few of those named haven't checked in lately.

Well, I hate to jinx this incredible run of luck (actually being able to see this site at work), but I gotta head for home.

Jeanny it sounds like your vacation is off to a good start. Do you have any other plans for the week? Wendy is on vacation too this week. I think she is in North Carolina somewhere.

My boss said that it's a really beautiful place, with mountains and valleys, along with the ocean. They took hikes and stayed at campgrounds in the national parks. They did see lemurs. Her daughter has been living there for about 2 months working with children on a hygiene program. She is now in India doing the same thing. It's not a place that we sell very often so it is not on a typical tourist's radar at all. It's on my list. Pretty far down my list but it's there!

I have that book "1000 Places to See Before You Die". It's pretty much my list. I've gone through it and to the best of my memory, I give the approximate date that I was there. So far, not good. But. . . I hope to be able to mark that book up in my lifetime.

I have a dilemma. I was offered an agent trip to New Zealand for $700. I have been hoping to get this offer for a long time but now that its been offered, I don't feel good about it. It's strange. You'd think I'd be happy but I'm just not. I am trying to decide whether to take the offer or go off of my feelings. I need to pray about it I suppose. Maybe it just isn't the right time to go.

Morning Chicks and Roosters!

I just talked to my friend to wish her a happy birthday. She was supposed to come visit this weekend and now isn't sure she can make it. I have her presents, I ordered a cake and I cleaned my house! Anybody want to come for cake? You want to know her excuse? She and her husband decided to move up their Disneyland trip from December to next week just because she's pregant. So Disneyland is more important than me???

As for New Zealand, I'm giving myself 1/2 hour to decide. I just can't get excited about it and it is bothering me. I really don't want to say yes but I'm afraid I'll regret saying no. I suppose I just do it and don't look back.

I decided not to go. It just didn't feel right and I am a huge believer in going with gut feelings. I don't regret it at this point. . . yet. I'll go someday and it will be great.

As for cake, how about 7 on Friday? That would be Pacific time for all of you people east of Nevada. (which would be all of you.
