For romantic vacations - we went to Belize and loved it. I think you need a passport to go to Dairy Queen these days, so it wouldn't be a surprise.

I'll skim some of my suppliers and see what kind of deals they might have. You are right that you are limited with not having a passport, but I'll give it some thought.

Indeed. I have that graphics program on the computer Dr.Pluto has commandeered. I'll get it done when he passes out. Actually I'm such a horrible Mom. I usually go to bed before him. And DH goes to bed hours before me. So basically I just go to bed and leave him to roam the information super highway all alone. But I digress.

Chris are you definitely wanting to go away for your anniversary? Just a thought, but could you just play tourist in your own town. Stay downtown in a nice hotel. Eat at that fancy restaurant that you've been wanting to try but never did. Take a carriage ride around town. Shop till you drop (oh, sorry I must be thinking of me again).

<sigh> back before Grimley had forsaken us and the fashion of the day was pretty moody something-or-others.

When the almost 6 year old is older, I'll have to take her over to VMK. As it is, she still wonders why that "print" button on her programs don't work and she can never register.

My nearest airport is MLI, but I'm within reasonable driving distance of Midway, O'Hare, Rockford, Peoria and Cedar Rapids also.

How much more information to I get to glean before I have to pay the commission? LOL
