Hey GD! How was your trip? I know all about the blues. It has been 1 1/2 years since my last trip to WDW and I am getting itchy. Of course, I have DL in less than a month. That will help. Can't wait for your trip report!

Hi Chris. You know, I don't have the flu. It was just a comment about being able to catch up on Days the next time I get the flu. I'm fighting a cold but no flu. I don't have time to be sick anyway. I have to go to a meeting all day tomorrow. I heard a rumor that if I go to the meeting I qualify for a Familiarization trip to New Zealand for $700 including air! I'm really hoping that is true!

Sorry that you've got a sick one too. Tis the season! I always know when I go to Target and the flu/cold remedies are prominently displayed.

Hi Tricia, you snuck in and I didn't get to greet you. I'll have you know that I watched 1 1/2 episodes this morning. Shawn just told Phillip and Belle that Claire is his. They are having the goodbye party for Jack and Jennifer. I'll probably cry.

Our trip was lots of fun. I'm working hard (hardly working?) on the trip report - I stayed up way too late writing the Pre-trip & Day #1 portions last night. Tonight I'll try to write Day #2. Once I've finished Day #3 or #4 I'll start posting installments on our website. Look for it sometime around the weekend...

The coolest thing we did was a soft opening of the new Nemo ride in The Seas. It was an unscheduled one that we really lucked into.

Susan, one of these years (sooner rather than later) I'll make it out to Cali & do DisneyLand. But for right now I'm an Easterner who's never been farther west than St. Louis.

Soft openings are scheduled starting this week for DVC & AP guests. I'm not sure when the "Hard Opening" is supposed to happen. Everything I've seen (including Disney's *************) just says "Fall 2006".

Yup, that's about it. We're discussing soap operas so it's nothing you should worry about. Although something like that did happen in my family.

My cousin "Jill" married "Dave" who happens to be Mexican and very dark skinned. My family members are as light as light can be. Dave has a brother who was married to "Alice", they had one son together. Jill's brother "Jack" got friendly with Alice and 9 months later, little "Chuck" was born. Well, remember that Chuck was supposed to be 1/2 Mexican. He turned out to be quite white, with curly red hair and blue eyes. Hmmm . Now Jack and Alice are married and raising little Chuck who is now a not so little 15 year old. Dave's brother joined the Marines and now lives in Hawaii. Did that make any sense? That's my family's dirty little secret.

I did more research - Disney's official site says "Opening Late October".

And all I tried to type in was one of the DIS's competitor's name (not even "www.BLAHBLAH.com").

The problem for me is that I know people named like that too. One of the upcoming local elections has a guy by the name of Boog - and that's not a nickname.

And Susan - if you're gonna go with 'fake' names keep up the "airquotes" the whole time. Otherwise we might not be entirely sure you're really changing those names to protect the guilty / innocent...

My in-laws have stories that would peel the paint off the walls. One of KAMommy's uncles has been married nine times. Including multiple times to two different women (but not at the same time, we think).

The only show on right now that I could name more than 3 characters would be "The Office" - Michael, Dwight, Pam, Jim...
