They seem (the kids) to think it's the "coolest". Try giving a 5'8" 160lb 12 year old a bath with one arm in the air, and his leg hanging over the side of the tub. :lmao: Gotta love your kids! :thumbsup2 I think I'll just take him out in the yard, put plastic bags over the broken parts, pour bath gel on him, and hose him down. That should be pretty picture. Especially with DS3 who likes to stand on the tree stump in the front yard and pee with all the neighbors out. :lmao:

Good Evening Chicks and Rooster!!!

Wendy~I had to go back and read what you were talking about... I was a little afraid at first! :rotfl:

Commencement went well on Saturday. It was partly sunny and kind of warm, around 65 or so... I still got a sunburn, the back of my neck took the brunt of it, my arms are still a little pink. Today was the best day to be in the office. It was SO quiet. The kids are gone, and most of my coaches didn't come in.

My Mother's Day was very nice, I went to a new restaurant with my mom, my daughter, her boyfriend and his mom & dad. The best thing about the day was I didn't see the bill for dinner and better yet, I didn't have to pay for it~~:woohoo:

Oh man. Must. Stop. The. Mental. Images.

Are we related? Cuz' if you add the 3y.o. being in Moon Boots and a black cape (and nothing else) then I can totally relate.

I think we are! The black cape, we are Zorro! :rotfl2: But we wear cowboy boots. Maybe that makes it better. :rotfl:

We were outside yesterday, me in the porch swing and Ethan (DS3) playing in the yard. Of course I'm reading unaware of what he's done. I look up, and he's standing there as bare as the day he was born. I said, "What in the world are you doing?" His reply as he tries to run away is, "I just wanted to play nakie." :lmao: Does anyone else see "Future Flasher"? :confused3

I'm here. I've been busy all morning so there's no time to Dis. I think my afternoon should be quieter. I hope. The bosses are back today so I have to continue to pretend to be busy. :rolleyes1

How'd the braces removal go?

I called about booking my trip for next year today. I'm soooo excited. I'm waiting for her to call me back with some pricing. I can't decide between 6nights/7days or 8nights/9days. I think we're going for the 8/9. What do you think? :confused3 Should I even be asking that question? ;)

hey fellow chicks roosters and hens there was just a pretty good storm a while ago and it just left the building but in like ten minutes there will be another:scared:

lol pointless q 8/9;)lol

Did we have a visit from our founder Dr. Pluto?

I'd go for the longer trip. I've never had enough time to really explore. Heck, try for 3 weeks if you can. ;)

Hey!
Anybody home?
I see DS was here. While I was working. My booty off. In the rain and lightning.

I had an all-day seminar to go to today. It was a guy from Boston - a P.E. (Professional Engineer) with a PhD, lecturing about materials engineering & science. Sound boring, huh?

(Geek voice) "The thermal coefficient of conductivity of a typical 16-gage 3 5/8" metal stud framing member is x.xxx so from that we can infer a typical R-value rating of blah blah blah..."

Actually, no - it was a very interesting seminar. He even managed to work in two separate 'f-bombs' in the course of his talking for the day (not even gratuitous - I gave him bonus points for that). The food at lunch was very good too - lots of fresh fruit to eat.

Hey GD/Rooster~ could you figure out his accent? If he is a true Bostonian, that's what I sound like (but definitely not like a geek!)... I pronounce my "R's" as "ah's".

Wendy~ why are you even asking??? Go for the 8/9 hands down!!

We had some thunderstorms roll through here tonight right as I was cooking on the grill. It was raining in the front of the house, but not the back for about 3 minutes! that was freaky!

He did have an interesting accent - partly Bostonian but also with a bit of Canadian thrown in for good measure. So I guess since he's a relocated Canuck he's not a "true Bostonian" - he mentioned that he moved to Boston from Montreal about 10 years ago for the "easier winters".

Good Morning Sunshines. :sunny:

Her teeth look so pretty. She just looks so different. My middle DD keeps telling her to smile because she doesn't look like herself. :rotfl:

 Longer is always better. :thumbsup2

Afternoon! I have to take DS12 to the Orthopedic surgeon today to see if they want to cast his ankle. JOY JOY! As long as we don't break anything else on the way. :)

It was storming here this morning, but I slept right through it. Worked all night and was:faint:
