Mornin' GW and the rest of the cheeky chicks.

I am once again on smelly laundry patrol.

Bedwetters: every family should have at least one. :thumbsup2

You know, there are meds and therapies to help 2nd time moms with that.... :teeth:

I am feeling better today. Drat, no excuse to stay home. ;) I was fairly miserable last night and I tried to make my parents a welcome home batch of cookies. Notice the "tried". I accidentally added about 2 cups more flour than the recipe called for and then doubled the recipe to compensate for that. Bottom line was the cookies just fell flat. This is my worst cookie disaster since the time I put a cup of salt instead of sugar. :rolleyes1 I wrapped them up nice and placed a warning on them. I hope they appreciate the gesture!

Hi Chris. :wave2:

Susan I'm sure your parents appreciate the thought of you going to the trouble to bake them a gift.

My Grandfather's birthday is Friday. I told him I'd bake him a cake. His favorite is a Rum Pound Cake. So that's what I'll be baking tomorrow.

Hey girls.
"They" have decided to take MIL off of life support tomorrow. Today the doctors took her off the medication that had kept her asleep for a week. One of DH's brothers and his two sisters were there and asked her what she wanted them to do. She indicated that she wanted them to let her go. Then they put her back to sleep. So tomorrow all the brothers and sisters will be there, and the doctors will turn off the ventilator.
She was awake long enough last week to write her obituary and write out her final arrangement details. DH asked me to go out and buy Will a suit tonight because she wanted all her grandsons to be her pall bearers. Tomorrow will really be tough.
Send us some P&PD. :guilty:
I'll check in later.

Oh Arkie, I'm so sorry. :guilty: I'll be praying for you and your family. What a strong woman she must be to be so well prepared though.

Good Morning.

Lori you are in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug: We had to take my grandmother off the ventilator a few years ago. She was ready and it was really very peaceful. Just be prepared that it doesn't go very quickly. I guess through TV I assumed once they turned everything off she would just pass. It really took hours. I will say prayers for your mother-in-law as well as your extended family. I know it's going to be a very difficult day for your family. We are all here for you. :grouphug:

Good morning Cheeky Chicks!

Lori~ I'm so sorry to hear this news. Just know she'll be at peace and won't be in any more pain. :wizard: :grouphug:

:wave2: Hi Hazzi. I keep popping in and out. Trying to clean and do things around the house. If I don't answer you that's why.

How's Wales this time of year? Cold yet?

wales is always cold (usually, this summer was an exception!) how are you today GW???

I'm good Hazzi thanks for asking. I'm trying to get all my cleaning done so the weekend will be fun. My kids are off of school tomorrow for the end of the nine weeks. The teachers have to get their reports cards ready. I'm taking the kids out to lunch and then shopping.

How are you? What time is it now? I can never remember just how many hours ahead of me you are. My guess is 5:50 pm. :confused3
