I'm back at work on a chilly Monday morning. Already dreading the day. The bosses are on a rampage about getting our sales up. They always get this way when we don't "look" busy. They hate it when we have time to chat.

Hello ladies! I have a two-day work-week this week. Leaving for Washington DC on Wednesday morning to chaperone my son's Beta Club trip. I can't wait!

Afternoon all! Interview went well. I go back on Thursday. We'll see what happens. It's beautiful here today. We're supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon though.

Me too! Me too! I wanna play! Mine's 276+. Could be worse I guess.

My DS3 is sitting here playing in the dog food. He's one of those children that you have to keep something in your pocket to stick in his mouth at anytime. Or at least keep a good pair of running shoes on so you can make a break for it. Many, MANY times this child has embarrassed the you know what out of me.

Ooh, I wish I had your countdown Michelle! I think I'm at least 579 days before the *possibility* of me going back. That's another thing my work frowns on. Going on vacation to the same place more than once is not helping us learn about destinations. Blah, blah, blah.

I'm more excited about going to Disney next year than I am going to the beach in a couple of months. Oh how addicting.

I finally have days set instead of just the month for next year's vacation. I may add a few more days before then, but I'm happy with it. Is it really busy the beginning of April? I don't think anything could be as bad a July 4th. WOW it was packed.

I would like to request a moment of silence to something that has been a part of my life for such a short, yet meaningful, time. As you know, I set up a "Falcon Fund" so that I could purchase the huge Lego Millennium Falcon when it comes out in October. I had saved up about $115 from my basic weekly budget over the last bunch of weeks.

This evening, right before bedtime, my son tells us that he needs $30 and another $25 for a couple of school functions - both due tomorrow morning. Naturally, the only place for that much cash to be in the house was my "Falcon Fund".

So now my "Falcon Fund" is mere shell of its former robust self - almost half of it gone in the blink of an eye. It is times like these that I reflect on how fleeting a time we have here on this earth, and...

I can't go on, I'm too broken up...
