DMM, I forgot to tell you that I love the names you chose! I think the name Alexander makes you sound quite important. My cousin is Alexander William and when he was little we used to joke that his name made him sound royal and he should be treated as such. He's in Afghanistan right now but I think he's still pretty much family royalty, we'd all do anything for him. I love the name Holland too!

Well, our house is as old as I am. It was born in 1968. We bought it cause we love the lot it's on. We're at the top of a hill with sitting on an acre. We're in a neighborhood and there are lots of kids around, but it feels like we're isolated cause of the top of the hill thing. Anyhoo...there are so many things about this 38 year old house that we would have to do to make it my dream house, we decided we might as well move and just buy my dream house. Our dream house. Whatever. So there are lots of new neighborhoods popping up around us, and I think we can find one that will work. For the next 60 years. With a pool. And a huuuuuuuuuge master suite. And no creeky floors.

Lori - very cool! I hope you have no problems selling your old house. A friend of mine in NY has a bidding war going on after she listed over the weekend. A friend in OR has had her house on the market for a month and is a basket case.
