Drat. It's Monday. I so enjoyed being lazy yesterday. I am looking forward to the weekend too Tricia. I live for those weekends.

I need some advice. . . Aerosmith is coming to our local fair this summer. I usually avoid the fair but I love Aerosmith. (teeny tiny crush on Steven Tyler). Anyway, the tickets go on sale on Friday, but my friend who is going with me is very picky about seats. So. . . I can join the fan club and buy tickets tomorrow (for $40.00 I might add) or just hope to get lucky on Friday. What would you do???

Hello!

I'm here for just a few minutes. I had two small projects due this morning, so I've been AWOL from here the last couple of days because of those. The drawings are at the printers to get copies made, and I will drop them off with the client later this afternoon.

KAMommy is the executive director for our local chapter of the AIA (American Institute of Architects), so she has to handle the monthly meetings and stuff. And as such, I usually am roped into being the A-V guy who gets to set up the laptop / projector & show the presenter how it all works. That's coming up in about 1/2 hour.

It's beautiful today! It's a crying shame to be cooped up inside. Hmmm, I have a couple of construction sites I can check out later...

I just got back from the dentist. He complained about my back gums bleeding. I tried to tell him it was because he was sticking sharp objects into them but he seems to think it has to do with me not flossing well enough on my molars. I'm still going with the sharp object theory.

Has anyone figured out where all of the lost socks go? Is there some sort of "Sock Heaven"? I swear I have held on to the same socks for a year hoping their mates will decide to show up again. I've even moved furniture looking for these poor things. I guess it's finally time to just let it go.

My theory was that there was a sock monster that would eat one of the socks. I too have a big bag of mis-matched socks that are desperately looking for their mate. It's a weird phenomena that's for sure.

I'm working on creating a sockless life. An evolution in my footwear. I'm done with missing socks, holey socks, and socks that just don't work with my duds. Plus I hate sock muffins. You know. The little lint balls between your toes at the end of a sock wearing day. Sock muffins. I'm done with 'em.

We tape Velcro strips to our calves. Missing socks are a thing of the past in our house. I hate sock muffins (we call 'em sock boogers) too! Every single one of my work pairs does this until they're so threadbare they're unwearable.

Crazy here today too. My DS broke his wrist playing basketball at school. Boys will be boys. At least it's not at the end of the school year. That would be horrible going to the beach with a cast. Michelle, I'm sooooo jealous. Only 17 days to go, I bet you're more than excited.
