I just wish our school dist would consider a year round schedule!

Chris I've been wanting the same thing for so long. The kids simply get bored in the summer after the first couple of weeks. Wouldn't it be nice to take a vacation at different times of the year when everybody isn't off at the same time?

Well, it's the last day of spring break for my kiddos. We really did have a fun week. Today we are going to the outlet mall in Mississippi with my mom, sister and nieces and nephew. Twelve of us so that should be very interesting.

On all sorts of things - like how do you people pick up after yourselves and not live in a constant state of clutter, and why is my gas tank always on "E", and how does one hire a gardener who actually shows up to work and maybe some instructions on how to put together Ikea furniture would be nice, too.

I keep baskets in every room and throw stuff that does not belong in the room into the basket. At naptime and at bedtime i go around and put everything from the baskets in its rightful place

Whenever i get below halfway i fill er up NO MATTER what or how cold or rainy it is! Simply b/c i have 2 kids and am pregnant and i can't just get out and walk for gas it's easier on my mind this way!

Our landscaping service is pretty good, but i'm hispanic and I KNOW that hispanics are NEVER EVER on time for anything, since i'm a SAHM and i know i am usually home, i ask them to come 30minutes b4 i actually want them there and lo and behold they arrive on time (30 minutes late, but on time for when i really want them here!!)

As far as Ikea furniture, it's a bust! the directions are foreigh and my DD draws better than their pictorial dierctions! hahah! i guess i'm just lucky that DH knows how to put everything and anything together!

What is this "pick up" you speak of?

Because you have not actually run OUT of gas and called your DH in shining armor to come rescue you often enough for him to become proactive and always make sure your tank is full.

It's a lot cheaper to hold that hose yourself anyway.

Tricia, we are expecting rain today too. I have apparently been clueless as to the forecast because I had planned to drive up the coast to a little nursery and pick out some plants to replace the ones that froze. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

Currently my plans are trying not to move as I pulled something in the shower and now it hurts to move my upper body. The story that I'm sharing with family and friends was that I pulled something while shampooing but I'll tell my Dis friends the truth. Margaritaville was on the radio and I was kinda dancing a bit and something popped.
