Good morning!

We skipped church yesterday morning. There were sleet & snow warnings for us Saturday overnight into Sunday, so we didn't even set the alarm clock. As is the way of life, the weather never came through. Sure we had some freezing rain ( snow + drizzle = snizzle ), but nothing that could righteously be called winter weather. Anyway, it was a very relaxing Sunday - the kids never even changed out of their jammies.

For the record, we are probably the only family in the Western Hemisphere who didn't watch that game. Not a huge football fan. Sorry. Make peace, not touchdowns - that's my motto.

We watched the "Law & Order" marathon on TNT instead. And did laundry.

Yep, I'm a wild man.

Sorry about your team Jeanny . I must confess that my dad was hoping for the Colts to win so I was trying to keep everything straight yesterday.

It's Monday again. How did that happen? I could have used a few more days.

My daughter (the teenager) just said this morning, as she was not wanting to go to school, that all weekends should be three days. I told her then Tuesdays would be just like Mondays are now and you wouldn't want to go to school then. Of course she said no that's not the case. A four day school week would be so cool.

Ah, it's every kid's dream to have a 4 day school week. Better yet, a 3 day. If I could afford it and if my work would let me, I would love just one more day off. It doesn't even have to be a Mon or Fri. I'd be happy with a Wednesday off. There just is never enough time to get things done. I have got to go grocery shopping.

Make that your priority for your way home from work today. Plus we don't want those two cute little doggies to starve.

Are all the Christmas decorations down and packed away for next year? No matter what I always find one last thing that I forgot to put away.

I rarely change out of my jammies on Sundays. And if I do, I often change back into them as soon as I get home again.

Another day of helping out at DD's school then a little shopping for me. I have three things I haven't exchanged yet from Christmas. Why put it off any longer? So, that's on the agenda for today.

Another day at work today. Tonight I am "babysitting" at my mom's school. They are having a presentation for parents and teachers so she pulled in extra resources (me) to watch the children. I will be paid though so I can't complain.
