I saw the last of the real ones in the garbage today.

Um. . . no. I have my tree (fake) up because I haven't had a free moment to take it down. At least I turned off my outside lights.

It's supposed to "warm" up but right now it is still very cold. I don't think it was as cold as it was but my fingers and toes don't seem to know the difference. I actually have taken to wearing gloves around the house because I just can't keep my fingers warm. I am not made for this. I like the temp to be right at 78.

Happy Saturday! It was so nice to sleep in this morning. I've been able to relax with my coffee and casually start my day. I did have a scary bug in the shower though. After washing him down the drain I spent most of my shower staring down in hopes that he wouldn't crawl back up. Time to go take down the Christmas tree!

Hey Susan, don't feel bad about still having your tree up, there is a house a few streets over who leave their artificial tree up on their sun porch ALL year and yes, it's decorated for Christmas all the time! Strange ~ especially when it's 90 degrees out!

Christmas is officially over at my house! The stockings are down, the tree is packed up, the ornaments are carefully wrapped and ready for next year. Except of course for the little things I keep finding all over the place.

Good Morning Chicks and Gents.. Tricia~ Good Luck with the Saints today! Sorry, everyone, but I'm cheering for my Patriots. A lot of them live around here during the season, I even saw Drew Bledsoe (when he was a Patriot) at the store. One of our football players at my school is the nephew of a current Patriot. He shook my hand when we met..oooooohhhh

It's a nice warm 14 degrees up here in Massachusetts!!! BRRRRRRRR.

Susan, I bought some California Oranges last night before the price went up! And don't worry, my Christmas has been officially over for a few weeks now and I'm STILL finding Christmas stuff around. Found a pillow the cats had knocked off the ottoman and found some oven mitts. I finally put my Christmas mugs/tea cups up on the top shelf and put my Valentine's mugs down on the first shelf.

I still have all my bins downstairs to put into the storage closet, but at least they're packed and ready go back in!

Hey Joanne!! How you doing??? How was your trip?

It was fun. The weather was perfect in the 70's low 80's with no humidity.
Big difference from our usual August trips.

The POP was fun and cute.

We just didn't have enough time to do everything. Could have used 2 more days.

I went with my DD 12 and her friend. She hadn't been since she was 6 so it was almost new to her.

getting ready for church?

I'm skipping. My friend works for the church and told me they are having a guest speaker. Which I know this may be bad but it's always so boring.

Well, Tricia, I'm sure you are mourning your Saints right now and I am so sorry. It was a great season for them though! I was pulling for them too.

We are warming up today. I am in a t-shirt. Of course I just got back from doing laundry at my parents house where it was a sweltering 90 degrees because my mom is sick and has the heat up high.

I have to go speak at a singles group at a church tonight (not the one I go to.) It's for work. I'm not sure if I was picked to do this because I am single or the only one at work who goes to church. Maybe I'll get some new clients out of it. Enjoy the rest of your day! I'll check in tomorrow!

Thanks Susan. They really didn't do a great job yesterday. I'm still so proud of them. They gave the city so much hope this year. It really helped so many people focus on something else beside Insurance, FEMA, SBA and the list goes on. There's always next year right?
