Can anybody tell me how this works.

We want to hit the parks on our last day there. We are staying at CBR and our flight out is at 7:40 p.m. which I guess ME will pick us up about 3 hours previous which would make it 4:30 - 4:40.

When we get up in the morning, can we bring our bags somewhere at the resort and have them watch them for us until ME comes and picks us up?

Thanks

Also, if you are flying on one of the participating airlines, they will actually take your luggage to be transported to the airport and you can just leave your carry-ons with the bell service people. We had a similar situationlast month at the BC and it worked very smoothly. Have a great trip! :earsboy:

Thanks,

We are flying SouthWest and they don't participate in that program.

Don't forget that you can also continue to use your room key as a charge card for your last day, up until midnight.

I would keep checking back on the participating airlines. When I was waiting for my ME bus on Monday night, I asked the man working the at the ME check in desk if he knew of any plans for US Air to participate any time soon. He told me that Disney is trying to get them on board, and Southwest either just started or will within the next week or so.
I wouldn't take this as being written in stone, but it might be worth it to check before you leave to come home.

Yikes, I do not like the sound of this. Is there a way to diable this feature? I have paid for our trip in full and I plan on using my Paypal Credit Card which I already have funds in to control the amount we spend.

I do not want an extra bill from the resort.

I don't believe you can do this once you have actually checked out of your resort. Check out means you have settled your bill so you no longer have charging on your room card.

I'm not sure you can do that with the room key after 11am. I have never tried--usually I set the room charge thing up and barely use it anyway.

things our last day using our room key/park pass. If it's after the 11:00 check out time the charges just get forwarded to whichever charge card you first used at check in. This was in 2003 so I don't know if something has changed since then or not. Have a great trip. Only 27 days, 19 hours and 55 minutes til I board the plane for WDW and the WL (first time at WL)! :cloud9:

I have used the card up to midnight. It worked fine. The hotel usually slips a list of charges under my door the day of checkout but I never go to the front desk to checkout. I give them my credit card at check in and checkout is always automatic.

If you want automatic checkout, you have to leave a credit card imprint, and then your room key is enabled to charge.

Since you want to use your PayPal Charge card because you know the funds are there, just use that as your card at check in. Then the room charges will go against that card and you will qualified for automatic checkout. And yes, you can use the card all day til midnight on the day you check out. We do this all the time.

If you don't want to leave a card imprint, then you won't be able to use the room keys for charging, and you won't qualify for automatic check out.

Ok this extra charging thing has got me a bit concerned.

Why would they need a credit card at all? I payed for the room and the tickets in full.

What other charges could there be? I want to use Cash as much as possible paying as I go.

How can I prevent this extra charging if there is any?

Just don't use the card to charge anything - pay cash for everything (or use whatever form of payment you want to). You don't have to use your room card to charge anything. Plus, you can ask them to "turn off" the ability for you to charge to your room card. Most hotels do require a credit card when you check in, even if the room is already paid.

You don't have to have charge privileges if you don't want them. They ask at check in if you would those privileges and if you answer yes they ask for one of your charge cards to scan and put on the room key.
Last time I went I was just there to attend my cousins wedding so I chose not to have the charging privileges.
It was fine. No problem.
When we were ready to check out the last morning we just the front desk.
They said thanks for calling and we were checked out.
Have a great time at Disney!

Just 59 more days

Thanks everyone, 31 days away to our first Disney Trip!

Trying to make sure I check everything.

Is there any hidden charges in the room, like snacks the kids could get into and charge us for? I know some Hotels are sneaky like that, they put a bowl out that has candy bars in it and charge you like 1.25 per candy bar.
