Just managed to log on to retrieve my two reservations for October and good job I did as they have spelt on of my daughters christian names incorrectly and also our home address was not correct.
If we had not been able to do this perhaps we would have had problems checking in and may not have received our documents.

My address was wrong as well. Even though my TA had given the right address, my address on the web site was different because I had never updated it. I am glad I noticed it so my documents for my cruise that is now 5 weeks away - hard to believe - will come to the correct address.

Make sure you double check the birthdates also. Mine was wrong, and I've read here that others' had this problem

It is great to be able to do this on line. Could not check using my birthdate but had to use husbands (he is older then me) seems to pick up on the elder as it did same for my two girls. Great - at least you know details are correct as they can be.

Although we have checked on line that our details are incorrect have sent an email to Disney cruise line they are refusing to change as say it must come from our travel agent. Have read that others have managed to get theirs corrected and would welcome advice if they did not book directly with Disney.

Actually, my TA had all correct info, it was Disney who had my birthdate (month only) incorrect. And in the "MY PROFILE" section, it would not allow a change to be made.

I contacted Disney support and was told to re-register under a different user name. Hah! Easier said than done. You register with your email address, they already had both on file (hoping for those pin codes!) and I only have 2 email addresses.

So I would have had to go through the trouble to get a new address, then register with that. But I didn't want to do that because 1) I don't think I should have to go through all that trouble just to change a birthdate and
2)I'd be afraid of getting a code or something through an address that I don't intend on using.

Told them just as much when I called and they called a supervisor who changed it in their system in about 1 minute.

I guess you should try contacting your TA first, if all their details are correct, then you'll need to push a little bit with Disney to get the mistakes corrected.

on the main page, where they show your reservation w/ your address, people in your party, name, birthdate, sailing date, etc...all was fine! everyone had the correct birthdates. but when i tried to register our 2 DSs, on their individual kids club thing, it showed their birthdates to be a day off! which i thought was very strange!

now, why would they show the correct birthdate on the main page, but an incorrect one else where? maybe it's just a "computer" thing? i didn't even bother to change it, since it was just a day off...didn't think that would pose any problems...do you think maybe i should contact dcl? or maybe it'd be "fixed" automatically, cuz it seems like it's a "computer glitch"? what do you think? :flower:

I'm kind of bummed here. I get bring up my reservation. When I talked to a DCL rep. she told me the confirmation number is the reservation #. I have tried all 3 birthdays with no luck!!!

All it does is stay on it! What am I doing wrong? I e-mailed them and got a standard reply saying they will probably e-mail me if my question wasn't answered in the standard reply.

Help!!!

Ok, just went back and looked at the original emails. I was wrong in stating that it was on the phone that I fixed the birthdate problem. It was actually in an email to DCLMember Services. I was thinking of something else with regards to the supervisor getting on the phone. Heres' a copy of the original email starting with the most recent response. Scroll down to the end for the beginning of the email, You'll notice that you must be somewhat persistant.

3RD EMAIL------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Well, that is easier said than done! When registering a new account, you
must supply a user name, which is your email address. As I am already in the
system, an error message pops up stating that the user name is already being
used. I've tried using both email addresses I have, and receive the same message.

In order to do what you've advised, I must create a new email address
account through my server(they only allow 2 addresses which I already
have),so I would then need to cancel one of my addresses, which is no easy
task as I am on many different mailing lists, so I would then need to change
those.
Then I'd need to reconfigure my Incredimail & Hotmail accounts to receive
messages from this new address. Of course, these things always work on
paper smoothly, I'm sure there'd be some glitches somewhere. I figure I'm
looking at least 1-2 hours of work. All because my birthdate is wrong and you're unable to go into the system and change it.

I must also add here that I frequent the DIS Boards and there is more
than a few posts regarding others' whose birthdates are wrong on the new DCL site and they're getting the same error message. So I have to think that this is some sort of system error. I'm not knocking the new site, truly, I think
it's absolutely wonderful that disney has updated it and it really looks
great. I just think that this is more than just a isolated incident that
you may want to look into further, rather than advising to create a new user
registration.

Sincerely,
Kathy ******

In "my profile" the month of my birthdate is incorrect. I am unable
to change it to the correct month, the site will not allow me to.
How can I change it to the correct month? I am unable to retrieve
any reservation info due to this. A message appears saying that "the
birthdate supplied is not the same as the one on file, please
contact Disney"

You could be having the same trouble that I had. My reservation number was correct but when I tried to put the birthdays in nothing would happen. The problem was that they had our birthdays wrong so it didn't matter that I was doing everything right if their records show I'm wrong.I called DCL they told me it was important to get those dates corrected before the cruise and then they told me to call my TA, after contacting my TA the problem was corrected in a minute.

My TA had the correct birthdates, so did DCL on paper when I called. But on the website, it showed the month wrong, which I think has something to do with their new system.
