Checking our reservation

Is there a way for those of us using a DVC member's points to check something on the reservation? My husband's uncle is the member and he booked for us (gave us his points...super generous of him!). Is there a way to call and just verify everything? I have the confirmation numbers of the stay (it's a split stay). Or do I have to just hope his uncle booked everything correct?

I am having nightmares of us arriving at BLT in two weeks and getting the blank stare from the front desk not knowing who we are and having no record of us...or worse, that his uncle didn't put the res in our name. I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to our Disney vacations, so relinquishing the control of booking the resort has been VERY difficult for me

You can go to: MyDisneyReservation.com and select the 'Using a Disney Vacation Club membership' option. Once you retrieve the reservation, click on 'View Itinerary Details' to see the names listed on the reservation.

Only the member that owns the points that reservation was made with can call DVC and speak with them about the reservation.

That's the online Check-In site. I don't want to check in yet (it's also 16 days too soon for that hehe). Can I use that site to just look at the reservation without actually checking in yet?

Yes. You can see it, but the link to check in won't be available until 10 days out. Even then, you don't have to click on it to just look at the reservation.
