How do I check on a resv. that was made for me? I would like to confirm on the phone that the dates and names are right.

Did you rent from a DVC member? If so, you would need to follow up with that person to get the confirmation. From what I understand, Member Services only takes calls from members. This helps to eliminate all the extra phone inquiries that can tie up MS. If you are the member and booked with MS, than I believe reservations can be reviewed on-line at the member website, but if it is one made with dev points, I don't think those show up on the site. Also, if you rented from a DVC member than you can ask the member to do a 3 way call. Have the member confirm the reservation with both you and MS on the phone at the same time.

However, an unscrupulous person could cancel the reservation right after you heard it confirmed. Or do a three way call with a friend pretending to be MS.

You may be able to confirm the reservation with the resort a few days before your arrival. Otherwise, you'll have to take the member's word for it and accept a copy of the reservation form.
