Checking in thru DVC

We will be checking in to the BCV on 6/22. Are there any advantages to on line check in? We should be arriving before noon and are hoping that a room will be ready (1 Br).

On-line check-in just pre-registers your information that would normally be taken at the front desk. While I always complete the process, I don't believe it has any impact on if your room will be ready or not when you arrive at the resort.

i thought that disney had several issues with front desk employees stealing credit card numbers and that online check-in allowed you to enter your credit card number securely with less risk of fraud. (i'm not completely sure and could be mostly making this part up.)

i agree that online check-in probably won't get you in your room any more quickly. DVC operates nearly at 100% occupancy and for you to get your room early means a lot of people would have to check out early and their rooms cleaned super quickly...

I've never been asked for my CC at the resort after completing the on-line check-in process.
