Hey everyone!

First off.. I've missed you guys. Things have been very rough the past few months so I haven't been able to spend time on the DIS like I want to. I'm okay for now but my illness is progressing pretty rapidly and I'm just hoping for a slow down soon. Of course the doctors preach to me to stay away from stress but it just seems stress is my middle name.. know what I mean?

Let me give you guys a few heads up on some cute Disney product that my company is getting ready to put on the shelves :cool1:

I received our Ornament shipment today and WHOA. They are NICE. And I'm not saying that as a Hallmark employee.. I'm saying that as a collector. Now, I'm not much of a Princess person, but the Aurora and Prince ornament? WOW. When you press the button music plays and her dress changes color in time to the music! The Cars ornament is adorable. There are nice Pooh family ornaments, Mickey, Minnie and gang. The whole line has just moved up to the next level.

Now.. if you love Pooh - pay attention here. You need to be at your local Hallmark store at opening on Premiere day (July 15th.) There is a VERY limited edition Pooh ornament called "I'll always be Pooh" (I think I have the name right.. memory works when it wants to ) Anyway, it's traditional Pooh looking into a Mirror and seeing Disney Pooh and on the other side is Disney Pooh looking into the mirror and seeing traditional Pooh - very cute and once again VERY VERY limited. Don't be surprised if your store has only 10-15 of them. And, if you are a club member, well, you might just get a little Pooh waterglobe as a gift.

We also have a new section of everyday Princess product with a modern feel. The characters are still traditionally drawn but they have modern woman saying to them. Like Snow White worrying about how many WW points are in the apple. There are cards, mugs, magnets, and misc paper products. Cute line.. check it out!

I hope you all are doing well and that Kayla and Dyan have been behaving themselves too ;). I miss you guys and really hope that things improve to the point where I can be online and hang out with you and maybe do a few useless polls. :)

Thanks for the heads up. My DD saw Cars as her first movie theater movie, so I will be getting that one. But, she also likes princesses... What to do!

Hope you're feeling better!

Thanks so much for letting us know.

And more to the point, I hope you get the reprieve you need soon. pixiedust:

Hi Lauri

We have missed you and your polls!! So glad you said "Hi"

The new stuff sounds great! Thanks for the preview...Hmmmmm, July 15 might be a go for me...The store close to me closed, so I have to find a new location to haunt :scratchin

I hope you get to feeling better soon...Then we are going to party:

Hey - we missed you and your useless polls lol! Seriously, the first time I posted on the creative community, you were the first to welcome me! Hope you feel better and get rid of that middle name.

Cathy

Hi! I hope you get a break soon!

Thanks for letting us know about the ornaments! I would love the Pooh one! I told DH that we had to be there bright and early next Saturday morning, and then he reminded me that he had to work at his dad's (putting in cabinets) and I had to work at the bank (that fill-in job thing). Do you know if there is any way to order them or anything?

Thanks again for the info!

Hey, this is Lauri's DH.

I think I heard her say that a lot of stores take phone orders for ornaments. Maybe call your local store and tell them your predicament and ask if you call right when they open could you charge one over the phone and pick it up later?

Also, another thing, one of her sister stores that she helps out is doing a midnight premiere. (If you are a night owl) You can check and see if any of your local stores are opening at midnight and try that way?

Thanks! I will try that! Tell Lauri thanks for the info, and thank you for posting! :thumbsup2

My kids have been looking thorugh the "Dream Book" we picked up a few weeks ago. I think I'll have to get the Pirates ornament too!
