Checking in - Change Made to Process?

I just went to do online check in for our May trip to the Poly and when I go to select our arrival time I can only put in Before 4pm, or times after that. Is that new? I am sure that I had more options when I checked in for Feb.

I realize that check in time is after 4pm for DVC. I always have just put in our actual arrival time just in case a room was ready before that time. Not with any expectation that one would be, of course.

Glad to know I wasn't dreaming it up! I just hadn't seen any chatter about it.

Honestly, it's probably a good change because it will help manage guest expectations.

I've always been pleasantly surprised when my room is ready early.

It began around the beginning of March...I think it is to prevent those from complaining about not having an early room.

The other reason I think it may have happened is that automated texts/emails went out at the time you put..and now they won't be sending any notifications to you until your room is actually ready to go.

Things do happen and rooms can get changed day of so I think this also helps with that!
