Checking in at RPR

Does anybody know if the kiosk printout will be enough annual pass proof on check in or do I need to go into the park and get the hardcopy with the picture on it?
They gave me the AP rate but told me to make sure I brought the AP with me on check in, and my lovely husband chose the kiosk pick up option when he ordered the tickets!
This will be our firt time in Universal and I don't know the ticket routine at the parks.

The print out should do. I've stayed at all 3 resorts with the APH rate and have yet to be asked to show my card.

I'm in the same situation, being a newbie. Can you buy the APH at the Hotel as with reg tkts, or only at the park or online ahead of time? (I know it needs to be activated at the park.) Thanks for showing us the ropes!

rookie, you can buy the ap at guest services.
i have always stayed at the hrh and have bought my tickets at the concierge desk in the lobby.

We are staying at RPH b/c w/ APH it's still $120/ night less than HRH. I think the kids can deal w/ pool-hopping for that price!

I went ahead and bought the APH online for kiosk pickup so that I would at least have a computer printout showing I own one. I called RPH and was told they do sell the APH, but I feel better having in hand to go straight to check-in.
