Checking in at OKW

I'm checking in at OKW - My first time staying there. I have rented a studio, and I was woundering if anyone could sugguest which room # has a nice view. and any information on this Resort is very helpful. Thanks

Don't request a specific room. Instead go with a view. We usually go for a water view (with the golf course, there are a lot of nice ones), plus non-smoking. If you really want a bathtub and not just a roll-in shower, you probably want to ask for a non-handicapped studio. If you rented points, your DVC member should make the requests for you with MS. If you got the room through CRO, call them and tell them your requests.

To get more specific, we like to stay at the Old Turtle Pond area, too.

One thing to think about is if you have a car or not. If you don't have a car, you may not want to have to worry about getting on a bus to get to the front of the resort for the store and such. You may want to ask to be up near the hospitality house if you care about that. Penninsular Road is another area close walk to the front of the resort. Also, depending on when you go, the pool rennovation could be done and you may want to be close to that pool, so ask for near the Hospitality House or Pennisular Road.

Honestly, there is not a bad view anywhere. It all depends on what you like, water view, woods view, or golf course. Some golf course views have water, also. We love the area that over looks the water way to Downtown Disney and that is South Point area, building 46.

We usually just ask for non smoking and water view with our requests and have not been unhappy with our villas except the one time I did not ask for water view and we got woods view and it was too woodsey and closed in for us (building 11).
