Checked into the Grand Californian Villas today.

Checked in this morning and headed to the parks about noon while we waited for our room. We are staying in the Villas. One bedroom is amazing! Park was crazy busy! 60 minute wait for Small World! We were able to do Big Thunder Railroad, Indiana Jones, Matterhorn and Small world by 3 then had Earl of Sandwich before getting to our room. We have fast passes for Space Mountain and buzz later. Hopefully will be able to get onto Soarin' before heading back to DL. Happy to answer any questions!

We are in room 2522 woods view. It is on the far end of the hallway and so quiet! We haven't heard anyone close to us. You can hear the parade a bit in the afternoon.

VGC is generally quiet, but villas at the far end are even more peaceful.
In case anyone is curious: VGC does not have view categories for booking (unlike GCH and larger DVC resorts), so villas are assigned based on requests (and luck).

Your villa likely had a partial view of Paradise Pier and WOC, but trees have grown to block the view.
