Check your Ticketmaster Accounts -- You may have free tickets and discount vouchers waiting!

So five or so years ago, the hubby and I signed up for a class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster and Live Nation (which I don't even remember doing). Earlier this year the verdict was announced and just yesterday, proof of payout started!

Apparently I went to a lot of shows back in the day because I ended up with 17 PAIRS of GA concert tickets (for qualified events) along with 17 discount codes -- the maximum you can get. My other half has five pairs. Such an awesome surprise!

In your "my account" section of the page there is a vouchers link on the left side toward the bottom. You'll find the codes in there and they're good until 2020! Needless to say, we'll be saving a boat load on concert tickets.

My wife saw something about this right as I was reading this yesterday. We found out about the lawsuit a month or two ago but it had slipped my mind. I got 8 free ticket codes and 8 discount codes. Hope it includes more then concerts because I never went to a concert through TicketMaster, only Braves games and WWE events. Maybe we will get a list soon.

I got an email notification and I have 7 pairs /14 tickets waiting!! So excited to see where I might be able to use them. Really hope it something worth seeing!!

Unfortunately it's only for events ticketed through Live Nation, which I think it's a crappy way for them to get around the sports thing. My 13 pairs came from a combination of concerts and NHL games but where I live now has fewer venues that ticket through Live Nation and most don't have general admission tickets. Like you I would much rather use my tickets for sports events. Cheap seats at a MLB game aren't that much different in cost than a concerts GA seats. Oh well, it's better than nothing.

I have 2 pair of free tickets and a 2 discount codes. I am really hoping that they have a decent selection of concerts to choose from, but the cynic in me says it will be the ones they know they can't sell out.

This is such a cop out if you ask me. They should just have to send everyone a check for x amount for each event. Giving us tickets to select LiveNation events is just a way for them to unload tickets they can't sell. I went to a LiveNation concert for cheap a few years ago and when you walked in they had a team of people to badger you for on the spot seat upgrades for additional fees. I also hope you can combine those discount codes since they are $2.50 each. I typically only buy two tickets maybe 1-2 times a year so if I have to break it up I may never use all those codes. I read on another message board that someone was close to venues where they had used the tickets but over 6 hours away from their nearest LiveNation venue, so the vouchers were useless to them.

I got an email regarding this about a month ago. I went on the ticketmaster site to look and I have a lot of codes! I tried to see what concerts I could use the free vouchers on, but doesn't look like there is any information on that yet. But it's good that the codes don't expire til 2020!

Wow, finally got in to view mine...17 coupon codes, and 18 free vouchers. Oh my! I am however, very skeptical, that we will be able to use more than 1 discount at a time, or that the free vouchers will be for anything even remotely interesting.
