Check your Southwest flights again, price dropped!

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked again (been checking about this same time every day for weeks, haha).
Ours for the departure day dropped from where they have been, but were still a little higher than what I got them at originally.
Prices for return trip were still nearly double what I paid for mine. We got in a couple of weeks though.

Each leg of our March trip is up $30+. Our west coast trip is up almost $50 each way.

checked ours, we depart on 11/12, fares continue to rise. Booked in June a few weeks after the schedule opened. refared a few weeks later when fares dropped by $18. pleased with the fare PVD-MCO $341 RT (+ $30 EBCI). paid over $400 rt in Jet Blue in October 2013.

Our flight down is on Thanksgiving day, so that one has almost doubled since we booked it. The return flight on 12/4 has stayed fairly low but just above what we paid for months, today was the first time I've seen it drop.

I'm happy with $222 round trip at Thanksgiving from Grand Rapids, MI!

Flight prices vary all the time, based on how many people have booked, sales, etc. I check every day - one of my flights I've seen vary from $89 to $125 generally. I booked at $129 but rebooked at $89 and have been watching it still. This morning it was up to $250! It's good practice, especially with SW who offers credits, to check often after booking for decreases.

praying Jan flights drop soon. seem really high for "low season"

If they drop in price, do you just cancel and rebook?

I answered my own question. I saved $30. Not a huge amount, but when the tickets were so cheap anyway, I did not expect much. Just means I have $30 to book another trip. :)

So I have a question for all the southwest experts! If I have unused funds that expire 4/19/17 does that mean I have to travel by then or just use the funds by then for a new ticket.

Another question...I just got a credit for my flight also...do you know if it's possible to use that for Early Bird check in?

Mine are on points, and they are up,way up for mid December....over what I paid

Also, if you have more than one person going, check for just one person. For our last trip I was able to re-book ours at different times. Once DS & I at same time and kept checking to do DH's later.

Thank you to the OP! Our flights only dropped by $5 each way, but it put a few Rapid Rewards back on the account. Every little bit helps!
