I just checked out of curiosity (don't really know why, as the rates for minivans were quite high for March). I had a van booked March 13 to 20 with Budget with the coupon I found here, for $298.13 minus the coupon for I think $30 off.

I just checked with Costco's website, and went to Alamo. It went down to a total of $225.35 including tax. Okay, not a huge savings, but about $40 still.

I prefer Alamo, and plan on using their kiosk to save time.

Hope this helps anyone looking for a minivan for spring!!

I just got a minivan for $200 for the week at National for March. See the other thread on the Transportation board about March car rental rates...

With National, I don't even need to stop at a kiosk. I go to the lot, grab the van and drive to the exit.

I just cancelled my Alamo ressie ($225 for minivan) to National Emerald Club ($227 w/add'l free driver). I've never used National before; do they have a kiosk like Alamo? I just have Emerald Club not the Executive status.

Yes, National also has kiosks.

Not that I've ever seen...

As Emerald Club member I just go to the garage and pick a car. No kiosk to stop at. I give the paperwork to the person at the hut that you drive past on the way out.
