Check your receipts with free dining!!

We used the dining for 4 days and had 16 table service credits. We put the kids in the Neverland club on the last night where they get a meal. My DH and I went to Narcoosee. This is a signature restaurant and we thought we had 4 TS left to cover this. When we were having drinks before dinner, my DH noticed that on our last TS receipt it was noted we only had 3 TS credits left. I was bummed and could not figure out where we had used the extra TS credit. My DH, who was still reeling over how much money we had already saved, was so relaxed about it. He was still very happy about getting 2 meals for one. He was not a bit upset about paying out of pocket for one of the meals.

The next day when we were checking out, my DH went up to the front desk and mentioned he was not sure we used that last credit. They checked over our history and noticed we were charged a TS for a CS food court meal. They immediately credited our entire cash portion of our bill at Narcoosee. Just a warning to check your receipts.

Thanks for the heads up. I always check receipts when we dine out, but with the dining plan at Disney, it may not have occurred to me since we would be using the credits. Glad you caught it.

Wow, how did they charge you for the missing credit?

It actually worked out in our favor. We put our drinks and my meal on the room card as cash. My DH and I shared his crab cake ap and his creme burlee desert. His meal was used for two credits which left us with one extra remaining credit we were not going to have any time to use. At the front desk the next day they checked and noticed that the missing TS credit was used in a CS. They immediately credited our entire cash portion at Narcoosee the night before. My DH mentioned that some of that was drinks but they did this anyway. They used our last TS and the missing one to credit our cash back.

YES CHECK those receipts I was charged for 4 TS credits at the Rose and Crown our server scanned the card twice and when DH went to straight it out at the resort he found out that the server had tried to scan our card the 3rd time but it didn't go thru.

We actually had something opposite happen...

I'd been carefully checking our receipts as we went along. Toward the end of our week, we got snacks at Fantasia Mini Golf, and I expected that once those snacks had gone through I'd have 4 left for our final day. The CM's asked me "How many did you say you'd have left?"...when I repeated 4 they said "Well, its showing 7 so you've got some extra!".

Somewhere along the line, 3 snacks we got never went through. We ended up using the 7 as we left, grabbing drinks and chips for the car ride home.

Also, if you have the dining plan be careful about also linking your credit card to the admission card. Since they'll all be connected, if they make a mistake they could charge your credit card for a meal instead of pulling it off the dining plan. The CM at check in said that has sometimes been a problem..So I decided to just carry a credit card to the parks with me to use and not link it to my admission/dining card. I also ended up with a couple of extra snacks at the end when I know I should have used them all up. I had been carefully watching receipts but on the last day, I went to the food court to double check that everything was done and found that I had 2 extra snacks left...so I used them of course.

This happened to us to . We went to teppanyaki and my daughter shared with me becuase I knew she wouldnt like much of the food. We were charged for her . The last night we went to 1900 park fare and they said you are one table service credit short do you wnat to pay for your daughter. We did but I went to pop's desk after checking receipts and noticed the error. It took till the next morning and lots of talking but they gave me back the money we paid out.
