Checked rates online like I do all the time. This time my dates (6-10 / 6-12) -came up with an APH rate of $169 at RPR. I booked it and cancelled old reservation with $211 APH rate.

The $169 rate is for a weekend - looks like weekdays are $149. I don't know if it's available at other resorts or for all of June, but I'm much happier!! We were thinking about skipping USO, but now we are going!!! :cool1:

Where ar eyou finding these rates at? I am also booked at the RPR and everytime i go to check rates they tell me the room is not available, as they are all sold out, and maybe it is just my dates...we are arriving may 31 and leaving on june 5. those are great rates and i would love to rebook mine at the discounted rate as I am having to book two rooms for my family of 6...YIKES!!!

That is a great rate. We will be there on June 7 for one night and I can't get anything close to that. We booked at HRH for $224 on AP discount. I would have thought it would have been less crowded on a Tuesday than on a weekend.

Your dates coincide with the Memorial Day weekend. That is why there is no occupancy. If you could go a week later, the rates drop significantly.

I checked the rates online at the Loews website using the code APH. Looks like some dates are sold out in late May/early June.

I've been lazy and hadn't checked the rates for some time.

Called RPR last night (4/21) and they changed my 6/11-6/19 rates from 211 to 169 weekend / 149 weekday.

THANKS!!!

hey goofy...so are you a florida resident? or is this an annual passholders rate? i just called and they told me that the only rates they show for $169 and $149 per night are for Florida residents. Just curious. I am still trying to get my rates down but havent' had any additional luck.

Hotel Kingdom has your dates availalbe for $179.20 a night (RPR)
$199.20 a night (HRH)
$227.20 a night (PBH)

thanks Karen...I already have the $179 per night rate but I have two rooms as I have a family of 6 so I am trying to cut corners everywhere I can....at $149 per night that rate would save me approx. $300 and I will need all that "extra" money to feed my crew. thanks for checking.

Nope, it was an APH rate. I went to the loews site first and put in the APH code just to make sure the rates were available for my dates, then called. They changed it right away for me.

Hope this helps!
