The DIS Team (in this case Pete, Corey, Dustin, Shaun, and Craig) did a recent review of the Fort as a part of its 7 Resorts in 7 Days series and it emerged glowing (naturally).
Here is the blog entry: (note the love for the FW Merchandise)
Here are the video clips. The first is a nice montage of the Fort (good interiors of the cabin) and an appropriate backing soundtrack. The second is a video podcast review of the Fort. And the third is men cooking meat on the grill. http://blog.wdwinfo.com/2013/06/06/video-of-fort-wilderness-resort-campground/
Here is the top level web page for the 7 in 7 Series: http://blog.wdwinfo.com/seven-disney-world-resorts-in-seven-days/

PS - they intentionallly paid Trading Post prices for all the food just to see...
PPS - the cabins are the main lodging focus (not trailers/sites) in the videos but it's about all the Fort
